Fabian Stewart

Director

With 25+ years International Business Development and operational management experience at the senior level, his career spans engagements at The UWI Mona, JAMPRO,the High Commission of Canada, FIMI Investment Jamaica Ltd (FIMI Group), and other private entities. In addition to his current role in the Business Development Office, UWI, he is an Adjunct Lecturer for the M.Sc. Degree in Sport Business Management at the Mona Academy of Sport, Faculty of Sport, UWI.

Achievements:

  1. Led the Jamaica Hockey Federation (JHF) (M) to its first ever participation in a Federation
    International Hockey (FIH) World Cup Event (Hockey5s World Cup, Muscat Oman 2024)
  2. Led JHF (M/F teams) to CAC Games 2023 and earned automatic qualification to the next CAC
    Games in scheduled for the Dominican Republic 2026

 Awards:

  1. Awarded Jamaica’s First FIH Medal of participation for a World Cup Event 2024
  2. PAHF Award for successfully hosting the inaugural (PAHF), Continental Hockey 5s World Cup
    Qualifier (M/W) in Kingston, Jamaica 2023
